2. Log in to Avails by typing in your Username and Password.

3. After successfully logging in, the Contract Search screen appears.

4. On the left side of the screen, click Invoice Center.

5. Use the drop-down menu to select Contract Type (sales or acquisition).

6. Use the drop-down menus on the screen to search for an invoice by Project Type, Project Title, Licensee/Licensor, Contract Type, Invoice #, or any combination thereof.  You can also search by Contract # by manually typing numbers into the Contract # field.  After selecting search criteria, click Search.

7. If an invoice is outstanding, a link entitled “Pay” appears next to the invoice. Click Pay.

8. Edit any of the top-level information (i.e. Wire Xfr/Check/Tracking No., Date Received, Date Cleared) located in the gray-colored section and click the Save Top-Level Payment Info button.

9. You are basically done and have successfully paid the invoice!

10. You may also enter splits (i.e. bank fees, withholding taxes, etc.) that are part of the payment by clicking the Add Splits button.

11. Click Add Payment Split. Select the appropriate payment type from the Category drop-down menu. Enter the correct amount and click the green Update icon to save changes.

12. Repeat Step 11 as many times as necessary.

Avails: Pay An Invoice Using the Invoice Center PDF File

1. From the Dashboard screen, click Avails from the Applications menu on the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen.

2. Log in to Avails by typing in your Username and Password.

3. After successfully logging in, the Contract Search screen appears.

4. Click Maintenance.

5. Scroll down the Maintenance menu, located on the left side of the screen, and click on Users.

6. To Create a new user account, enter the Username, Email and Password in the corresponding fields and click Create User.

[Note: Make sure you follow the instructions for choosing a Password which meets the criteria.]

[Note: New users will automatically be assigned to the role 'Users,' which grants them read-only permissions.]

7. To Edit a user account, click the yellow Edit icon.

8. Make any necessary changes and then click the green Update icon to save your changes.

9. To Delete a user account, scroll to the far right side of the line item and click the corresponding Delete icon .

1. From the Dashboard screen, click Avails from the Applications menu on the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen.

2. Log in to Avails by typing in your Username and Password.

3. After successfully logging in, the Contract Search screen appears.

4. Click Maintenance.

5. Scroll down the Maintenance menu, located on the left side of the screen, and click on Users.

6. Scroll to the far-right side of the user account line and click Reset Password.

[Note: Passwords are completely hidden and encrypted in the system; therefore if a user forgets their password, an administrator will NOT be able to look it up in Avails.]

On the Reports screen, use the scroll down menu to select a report.  Select the output option (PDF or Excel), then click Next:Select Report Criteria.

[Note: Some reports are only available in one format type.  When you select a report, the format choices will always appear in the Output Options box, as pictured above.]

After clicking Next:Select Report Criteria, the following screens contain report filtering options. Selecting no filters will generate reports covering all existing data in the report category.

After selecting report filters, click Finish to generate the report.

2. Log in to StarCM by typing in your Username and Password.

3. Click Maintenance (you must have the appropriate permissions to do this.  If you do not have these permissions, please contact your FilmTrack administrator.)

4. Click on Project Types to Areas.

5. Click on the Project Type (Film, TV Series, etc) that applies to the project.

6. Scroll down to the Details area (Right column, third box down).

7. Scroll down the Details menu and click the box for Project To Application.

8. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

9. To assign a Project Title to applications, enter the project Title under QuickSearch and click Search.

10. Click the Project Title.

11. An Application Availability area now appears on the Project Details page.

12. Select which FilmTrack application(s) to assign the Project Title to. For instance, click the Avails box to see the Project Title appear in Avails reports. Unchecked boxes will leave the Project Title out of reports in that application.

2. Log in to StarCM by typing in your Username and Password.

3. After successfully logging in, the Welcome to the Administration Component screen appears.

4. Using QuickSearch, enter the Project Title, and click Search.

5. Click the Project Title.

6. When the Project Details screen appears, click Vault.

7. Using the scroll down menu on the left side, click Scripts.

8. Click Add.

9. Click Upload.

10. Click Choose File and select the file to upload, then click Upload.

11. After the script uploads, enter a Display Name and click Add.

12. The uploaded file is now stored in the Project Vault under Scripts, and can be viewed online by repeating steps 1-7 in this tutorial.

1. From the Dashboard screen, click StarCM from the Applications menu on the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen.

2. Log in to StarCM by typing in your Username and Password.

3. After successfully logging in, the Welcome to the Administration Component screen appears.

4. Click Contacts (You must have the appropriate permissions to do this.  If you do not have these permissions, please contact your FilmTrack administrator.)

5. Click the icon next to Internal Users.

6. Click Add.

7. Select Internal User under the Contact Type drop-down menu.

8. Enter the Internal User information.

9. Click Add.

1. From the Dashboard screen, click StarCM from the Applications menu on the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen.

2. Log in to StarCM by typing in your Username and Password.

3. After successfully logging in, the Welcome to the Administration Component screen appears.

4. Click Maintenance.

5. Click Manage Users.

6. In the upper left corner, enter Username, Email, and Password of the new employee.  Also select the permission level for the new employee.  Please see StarCM Permissions Guideline for more information.

[Note: User is the standard permission.]

7. Click Create User.

8. The New Employee is automatically added into the Username grid.

[Note: FilmTrack administrators do not have access to client passwords, therefore it is highly recommended that your company’s administrator maintain a secure list of employee passwords for future reference.]

3. Click Invoice Center.

4. Select Contract Type (Sales or Acquisitions).

5. Enter search criteria using information for Project Type, Project Title, Licensee, Contract #, or Invoice #.

7. Select the invoice, then click View Invoice.

8.  The invoice sent date is located just under the invoice number.

2. Log in to Avails by typing in your Username and Password.

3. Under the Navigation menu, click Reports.

4. Using the scroll down menu, click AR by Project.

5. Select the report output format (PDF or Excel), under Output Options and click Next: Select Report Criteria.

6. On the Select Projects screen, click Add All.

7. Click Next on each screen until the Select Accounting screen appears.

8. Enter Start Date and End Date to reflect the month you want to search.

9. Click Finish.

10. A report will display all accounts receivable that month, with account receivable totals listed by Project Title.
